A lovely early 20th-century copper plated and leather club fender coal box seat. The little seat's leather on top has a wonderful patina. Inside is a compartment for storage of coal or kindling or matches or even a few bits of wood. The copper plate has been rubbed over the years with the base metal showing through in places but does not distract from the wonderful character and charm of the great little seat.DateEarly 20th Century :
