Early 19th Century Rosewood Overmantle Mirror

Description
Lovely Regency rosewood overmantle mirror. The mirror has half columns to the sides and tops with gilt capitals at the bottom of vertical columns as well as the slip frame. The mirror frame has a fantastic patina created over many decades of touching and cleaning. There are some spots of foxing across the mirror but heavy foxing on the right-hand side. This foxing of the mirror plate just adds to the charm and character of the mirror.DateEarly 19th Century :
