Description

For sale is a Mid Victorian Walnut Pop Up Cabriol Leg Davenport. When the fall is opened it reveals a pull out adjustable writing slide, fitted with pen trays, ink wells etc... and two small drawers. When the right hand draw is pulled out it has a secret catch to open the top section of the davenport, which is fitted with three drawers and pigeon holes and has a brass gallery top. The right hand side cupboard door when opened displays four drawers with military style handles. The davenport is supported by finely carved cabriol legs which stand on a shaped base.
