Description
A Vintage Wardonia shaving set.Art Deco Cream Bakelite travelling shaving set made by Thomas Ward & Sons, Wardonia Razor Works, in Sheffield England.
The set comprises a cream bakelite case which has fittings to hold a razor and two sets of spare razor blades and two cylindrical containers, one for the brush and the one for a stick of shaving soap. All the pieces are original and in excellent condition. Also included is a Gilmark Junior badger hair shaving brush, made in Woodbridge, Suffolk.
The set dates from the 1950s and is in first class condition.
The case measures 13 centimeters wide by 9.5 centimeters tall and 4.5 centimeters deep or 5 inches by 3.75 inches by 1.75 inches.
