Description

A quaint pair of miniature recumbent sheep, which date from the 1850's.
They were probably made by one of the many Staffordshire potteries around Stoke on Trent.
They would be displayed in workers cottages rather than the manor house.
They will make a great Christmas present.
The condition is as expected for these pieces of pottery. They both have firing faults, which can be seen in the photographs. These do not effect the stability of the sheep. One of the sheep has two hairline cracks to the base, and these are also stable.
