Description

A lovely glass and solid silver noggin with Whisky label. A noggin was the name for a small measure of spirit, approximately a gill and over time the glass jug also adopted the name noggin.
Fully hallmarked for London 1903 and made by the renowned firm of Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd. Both the lid and the rim are hallmarked.
The Whisky label is hallmarked for London 1910 with the silversmiths Hukin & Heath.
The glass has an attractive star cut base.

The noggin measures 9 centimeters to the flat part of the lid.

Very good condition, no chips or dings to the glass or silver.
