Description

Pair of Georgian chafing or serving dishes made of Sheffield Silverplate which has the expected copper bleeding showing through in some areas.
There is a family crest to the front which I cannot identify, but have given a clear photograph of for those interested in tracing family trees.
They are very impressive and the condition is good. They have wear in some places where the copper shows through and some minor dings and scratches from 200 years of use. The photographs give a fair representation of the condition.

The handles remove and the lid and base stack together. This makes for easier packing and transport. They weigh an impressive 3570 grams.

They date to the 1820's and measure 11.5 by 8.5 inches with 6.5 inches to the top of the handle.

UK first class post is £15.
