Description
A very attractive jug with a Chinese scene set with a rural background. It is a rather stately jug with some wonderful colours to make it stand out from the crowd. The stripes on the handle are also very different from the normal pottery decoration of the period.It dates from the mid Victorian period and is in good condition with just a minor hairline to the base. I have shown this in the last photograph.
It stands 5 inches high or 12.5 centimeters.
