Technical Description
An early 19th century glass wine bottle. A tapering neck with applied string rim and marver lines rests upon a cylindrical body with a sticky ball pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the South Orkney Islands were discovered, by George Powell and Nathaniel Palmer.
