Technical Description

18th-century opaque twist ale glass. An elongated round funnel bowl with rib moulding to the lower half. A pair of spiral tapes out with a pair of spiral threads makes up the stem. This all rests upon a conical foot with a rough pontil.

Historical Relevance

Hand-blown around the time the 1st life insurance policy in North America was issued on the 22nd of May 1761 in Philadelphia.
