Description

Solid Silver, late Victorian Fruit Knife.
Hallmarked for Sheffield 1895.
The maker`s mark - NB for Needham Brothers,
Baker`s Hill, Sheffield.
A superb, medium sized fruit knife in unused condition.
The undecorated blade opens and closes correctly - snaps into position when open and closed, but this one does not lock in the mid-position.
The scales, tapering in their length, are silver with cast flower (tulips?) decoration on both sides.
Excellent hallmarks and clean deep thumb nail groove.
130 years old.

Open length:- 133 millimetres.
Closed length:- 76 mms.
Knife weight:- 21.7 grams.
