Silver & Mother of Pearl, early Victorian Fruit Knife
Hallmarked for Sheffield 1852 - date letter - I
The maker`s mark - HA for Atkin Brothers, Truro Works,
Matilda Street, Sheffield.
A superb, large fruit knife in very near original condition.
The blade opens and closes correctly - snaps at 180 degrees,90 degrees, and snaps closed. It doesn`t need any work - it`s great and ready to go.

Attractive shaped Mother of Pearl scales to both sides, and with flowers on the front. Silver hinge facings.. A silver, rectangular, vacant cartouche in the centre of the MoP.
Excellent hallmarks and clean deep thumb nail groove.

Superb unused condition, throughout. 173 years old.

Closed length:- 859mms.
Knife weight:- 28.9 grams.
