Military Campaign Camphor Wood Chest, circa 1840. This is a great sized chest that has recently been professionally restored and fresh polished. The interior has a wonderful camphor scent, making it a perfect blanket box.The french polished exterior shows the quality and grain pattern well. It has brass carry handles, and brass corner straps. It has had an interesting life, and at some point has had its lock broken, and is missing.
It is in good condition, and would make a great coffee or TV table, or storage trunk.
