A Late 17th Century Wainscot ChairMeasuring approximately 43" x 23" x 20" (height, width, depth) with a seat height of 16"
A decorative and functional armchair in good restored condition and with rich, dark oak patina throughout.
The scrolled top rail above a stunning lozenge carved fielded back panel flanked by downswept arms.
The chip carved plank seat raised on gun barrel supports with block feet adjoined by peripheral stretchers.
Old repairs to back legs and top rail.
