An English 17th Century Oak Bible / Table Top Box.

Measuring approximately 26" x 18.5" x 9" (width, depth, height)

An attractive, characteristic piece richly carved on 3 sides with fleur de Lys foliate pattern. The plank top, now with evidence of wear and strenthening batons, opening on iron penny end hinges to reveal a useful clean interior with original base boards.

The front with iron hasp lock and working key also with an ex owners initials 'T. A.'
