Description

A large leather covered early 19th century cedar wood coffer. This piece of attractive storage furniture is leather covered, later protected with varnish, painted iron bound edges and corners and decorated with brass studding, some losses. Has some wear but maintains the charm and usefulness, as a good storage item, a table or impromptu seat.
Size 107 by 47 w by 40 h.

Dunkeld Antiques has been in business since 1986, operating out of premises in the village of Dunkeld in Perthshire, which had a stock of good antiques , out of print books and decorative items. Latterly we have moved online and now have a range of smaller items, currently a wide range of domestic and usable antique copper and related metalware.
