A very nice pair of Scottish Provincial Silver tablespoons by a relatively rare maker, Nathaniel Gillert, Aberdeen c1795.
Nathaniel Gillert is recorded as working in Aberdeen c1785 - 1821.
The spoons have nice, very clear hallmarks, with the maker's mark "NG" for Nathaniel Gillert and "ABD" the Aberdeen town mark.
They measure just over 8 1/2" inches (215mm) in length. The weight is 122.5g.
It is in excellent condition, a lovely addition to any collection, or for use on a special occasion.
