Kralik - Jugendstil / Art Nouveau Inkwell, iridescent glass, Circa 1910

This is a a beautiful Czech Art Nouveau Jugendstil glass inkwell made by Kralik (often thought to be Loetz) and is of Squat round form. It is blue / green in colour with a good iridescence. This eye-catching inkwell has a hinged Brass lid , to the underside of the lid is stamped with German Empire patent marks and registration numbers. Patent numbers O.E.P. 10580 and D.R.G.M. 168180 (I think, a little difficult to read). The glass sits within a copper coloured metal cage depicting water lilies with whiplash stems.

Condition: As can be seen in the photos, the inkwell is in excellent overall condition with no chips or cracks.

size: Height, 7 .5cm and 8.2 cm diameter at the base.
