Berger and Gilt wood Window Seat

A decorative early 20th.Century French gilt wood dressing stool or window seat. The seat having the original rattan/cane/ Berger, and later upholstered cushion. Having curved back rail and cabriole legs each with carved detail.

Size: 42” wide x 18” deep x 24” tall to the top of the back rail

Condition: The Gilt finish is a little worn in places as you might expect, this only adds to the charm! The cane is all in good order. All joints nice and tight.
