Oil on Glass panel Bessie Bamber

Pretty oil on glass panel by Wirral artist Bessie Bamber of two sweet little kittens playing in an ornate Cheese dish. She is an artist who specialised in cat , kitten and puppies paintings. Framed in a Hogarth style frame typical of the early 20th century.

Bessie Bamber was a British artist from Birkenhead who was active between 1870 and 1910.

Nice prominence to this picture as it has the Boydell gallery label the back, they were prestigious in Liverpool as the place to go to purchase your fine art in both the 19th and 20th Century.
