Beatrice Accordion 4 Fold Avery Style Needle Case.As the name suggests this is a folding four panel needle case. Made from pressed gilt metal. These were made by several manufactures in the late victorian period, this one is unmarked apart from the base being marked “patent”. Circa 1870.
