Description

Beautiful jug , made at Caughley , circa 1780-90 , It is nicely moulded with a cabbage leaf body and has a masked spout and is decorated with a blue transfer print of the fisherman and cormorant pattern . Please note there are no makers marks to the base.

Size: It stands at 7 1/4" Tall high and measures 6" from the spout to the back of the handle

Condition is excellent with no chips, nicks or restoration, just the usual firing marks you would expect for pottery of this period.
