Description

For your consideration is this rare model clock made by the English clock makers Smiths. This clock has a wonderful dial face, and runs on a 8-day movement time piece which has been serviced and works well. The dial is suspended between two Belisha beacons (so named after the then Minister of Transport Leslie Hore-Belisha first appeared in 1934. The beacons have catalin bakelite cherry red accents to the top. Quite a heavy clock for it's size. Condition is good with some ageing to the chrome in parts, nothing unsightly but mentioned for accuracy.
