Description

A delightful ladies Art Deco compact marked to the interior with the trade name Stratnoid made in England with the registration design number for 1931. The base is engine turned with the top lid depicting a wonderful scene of a young flapper girl seated on a fluffy cushion and holding up her pet puppy which looks to be a king Charles spaniel. In excellent condition with the compact having a firm hinge and secure clasp which opens to reveal a bright chrome interior with mirror. The powder well in the base is covered by a turning dial which can be open or closed and is marked as mentioned above. Also retains it's original puff which has faded printed script.
