For your consideration is this rather stylish Art Deco mantel clock manufactured with an 8 day movement, comes with original key and pendulum . The original instruction label can be seen on the inside back door and denotes the sale of the clock of November 1938 just before ww2 broke out. The condition is very good, we've had the clock fully serviced by qualified horologist so comes to you with movement in fully functioning condition. This is a beautiful time piece which chimes on the half hours & the quarters. Finished in walnut, the clock is in excellent condition for the age.
The chimes can be silenced and when switched on again, the mechanism will reset the correct sequence within an hour. Keeps excellent time for a mechanical clock.
