JOSEPH HOFFMAN (1870-1956): A VENUS DE MILO crystal scent bottle is facet cut with zigzag lower section and acid etched decoration of sprays and floral motifs surmounted by a three dimensional Venus De Milo stopper with dauber, c. 1930s, the stopper identified in the 1933-47 Hoffmann catalogue. A great piece for vanity collectors or Art Deco collections. These size bottles are becoming increasingly hard to source, particularly without damage.
