Description

For your consideration is this rare Art Deco ceramic powder box, jar depicting a flapper girls head dating to the 1930's. This stamp on the back is Japan, often as is today as well popular items were copied and inspired by other makers of the day and this lady is no doubt inspired by the Goebel's version, equally rare. The open mouth was the receptacle for the handle of the feather down duster stick use to powder the ladies face.
