This is a really cute and rare find, a 1930's Art Deco compact with the most delightful enamel decoration, featuring a red geometric design on a chrome casing . The interior is an engineers delight with a sliding latch on the side of the compact to secure the power in place. Upon opening the lid reveals the mechanics that operates and reveals a powder dispenser. The back of the compact is same as the front , so both sides are decorated . The condition is very good and above average with only minor signs of ageing, a true delight for any Deco fan or collectors of compacts . Patent number and makers name are impressed on the sides of the compact Beaute limited, Paris, France.
