Art Deco clutch handbag dating from the 1930s In dark brown leather with stylized Galalith & Chrome clasp to the top. This handbag is a great example of Modernist Deco design of the thirties period. Features chrome frame & clasp. The clasp opens & snaps closed smoothly. Interior lined in dark brown grosgrain fabric. 1 inside pocket and a coin purse on integral frame .
The interior does show some signs of wear and use, where the lining fabric has worn through and is shredding due to age of item, there are some signs of repair ( darker lining fabric replacement at some point in past) - please see pics of interior. Very useable item , the exterior is in very good vintage condition and is without damage.
