For your consideration is this super stylish Art Deco Wood and Glass Ferranti Synchronous Mantle Clock With Working Original Movement, dating to 1938. A rare example of it's type, this Ferranti (1932 - 1957 Manchester, UK) clock was made circa 1938, and was the non-electric version of this design.
The original movement winds and performs well, keeping good time having been professionally serviced by an horologist. The movement is marked 'Foreign'. Walnut veneer in very good condition. New felt on the feet. Glass fitting patent number still on the reverse. Number 24 embossed underneath, possible variant number
Double glass frontage, flat circle with domed glass on top held tight by four bearing headed screws.
Overall condition is excellent showing only minimal signs of use.
