For your consideration is this very unusual and highly decorative porcelain lidded jar, believe to be possibly German. Representing a clown / Pierrot kneeling in front of their love interest . Vibrant colouring which is as bright and crisp as when first manufactured. The glaze is also free from crazing. Wonderfully styled features . This is quite a rare piece and is ideal for both display and use. In great condition with only one flaw to note which is a very faint hairline, which is about 2 cm and looks to be rigid and unlikely to travel further and much taller than usually found of these boxes.
