For your consideration is this very stylish 1930's Art Deco secretaire in mid tone figured Walnut with Macassar plinth and accents. This fabulous piece of furniture not only is extremely functional but exudes quality in both the craftsmanship and timbers used. Features a stepped top with two generously sized open shelves which are accented with a Macassar ebony border. Beneath is a drop down rest which opens up by key to reveal a fully equipped desk. The original tooled edge green leather insert serves as the writing area and is enhanced by open slots for letters and paper work, along with two small drawers for pens and general bits and bobs. Below the desk area is two doors which offer further storage by way of two more shelves. The whole piece is in great condition, free from damage and has been fully restored where needed.
