Description

Wonderfully stylish Art Deco 1930's crystal glass decanter set which comes with six matching glasses and decanter with stopper, the whole being heavily enamelled with geometric floral decoration. Made and designed by Karl Palda in the 1930s by the Haida-Steinschönau Glass School, Bohemia. Karl Palda worked in Haida from 1887 to 1945. Top glassmaking products came from Haida. Made of heavy hand-blown lead crystal, hand-sanded with a beautiful black solder painting, the relatively large glasses with 6-faceted, solid crystal body. The condition is great with just minor signs of age, odd little marks here and there but absolutely no damage, all are free from chips, nibbles etc. This set oozes quality and we know the new lucky owner will be nothing less than absolutely delighted with it.
