This beautiful watch is what we refer to as 'old new stock', that is to say it's of the period dating to the 1930's but has never been sold, marketed or worn, as you can imagine that's pretty rare, this timepiece has been kept hidden away for several dozen years.
The dial is a original, marked Record Geneve white-coloured dial with Deco numerals, hands and numerals with glass crystal perfect condition and unscratched. Original leather strap , this is extremely unusual to find.
The watch is perfect both for everyday wear and for adding to the collections. Lovely watch any lady would love to wear. The case back is free of any engravings, shows no wear-through to the plating. Still with it's original label.

BIO
Record was founded in 1903 in the Swiss town of Tramelan in the Bernese Jura. Record once enjoyed a reputation for high precision and was therefore chosen to provide various armed forces around the world with service watches.
In 1961 Record lost its independence when it was acquired by Longines based in the neighbouring municipality of Saint Imier) through a purchase of shares. Subsequently, watches were produced with the double signature “Record Longines”. Record ended in 1991 when production finally ceased.
