Description

For your consideration is this rare metal relief picture of the famous sculptor and painter Hans Harders. It is signed with H. Harders (fec), who also worked under the pseudonym H. Clausen (1871 - +1950). The relief is silver coloured patinated and shows some age related fine scratches see photos. The dark stained frame is made of oak. Due to its age the wood has shrunk a little and the corners show chinks see photos. A genuinely outstanding German Modernist piece with Bauhaus details, which is a perfect addition for any Modernist or industrial design collector. A wonderful example of progressive 1920's / 1940's German design
