Beautiful piece of jewellery from the house of Jakob Bengel, dating to the 1930's. One of the leading manufacturers of Art Deco jewellery, the company produced in the 1920's and 1930's very innovative and individual pieces of the time, aesthetically characterised by their unique designs and modernist slant. This Aztec patterned bracelet is quite weighty and is segmented with engine turned pieces linked with in chrome squares with pale blue and black enamel accents. Condition is very good with only the mildest signs of it's true age. Ideal for day or evening wear for the fashion savvy lady of today.

Jakob Bengel was a chain and costume jewelry factory, founded by Jakob Bengel in 1873 in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. Until 1920, the company specialised in the production of watch chains and chatelaines. In the 1920's and 1930's, it became one of the leading manufacturers of fashion jewelry in the Art Deco style.
