Description

This is a beautiful original watercolour painting with body colour by well known artist James Walter Gozzard. The paining depicts some ladies walking along the riverbank street next to some buildings. His use of light is delightful and gives great atmosphere to the painting. The title ‘Library Night’ is written on the back.

This painting would have been created to be reproduced as either a greetings card or postcard. The painting is onto artist’s watercolour board, is initialled bottom left JWG. The painting is approximately 27cm x 17.5cm and the frame is 43.5cm x 35cm. The painting is offered mounted in an attractive gilt frame which is glazed.

The condition is very good.
