Description

Wonderful vintage industrial double sided pigeon hole unit. Made from solid Pine, with Bakelite dividers, that slide in and can be removed to make wider pigeon holes if needed. A versatile piece, with shelving and dividers, runs on later Castors. Dovetail joint detail to the top and sides.
In good condition, signs of use and wear all over. Retains most of the original number plaques, there are a couple missing also there are a couple of the Bakelite dividers missing as can be seen in the photo.
This piece could be used in a boot room for shoes, as a room divider as it is double sided, great for shop displays, there are unlimited uses. The castors make the piece easy to move.
Good over all condition, signs of use all over and patina.

Pigeon hole sizes vary, some measure 25cm wide by 16cm tall by 25cm deep and others measure 25cm wide by 12cm tall by 25cm deep (over all depth of the piece is 51cm).
The width of the pigeon holes can be altered by taking out the Bakelite dividers, therefore increasing the size to 50cm wide or 75cm etc.
