Description

A superb quality French table or jewellery box, the top and all sides profusely inlaid with marquetry, the base made of various different woods and inlaid with gold and silver coloured metals and ivory. The edges banded in brass.

In stunning condition with not a single loss of inlay anywhere on the box.

The interior has been re-lined with a Shiraz red silk velvet and complimentary cotton moire fabric.

With working lock and tassled key. (The key is not original can sometimes require several turns to release the lock but does work.)
