Description

A superb quality Victorian jewellery box veneered in wonderful golden burr walnut, the corners and edges banded in brass, the front and top with further brass bands. The top has a flush fitting carry handle and the front a rectagular keyhole escutcheon.

The box opens to reveal the original interior, re-lined in a black cotton moire fabric and contrasting plush stone grey velvet. The lift-out tray reveals a further divided storage area beneath.
