Description

An ornate and visually striking antique wall mirror from the Victorian period . Crafted with a richly detailed cast brass frame the surround features scrolling leaves and rose medallions. A distinctive foliate mask at both the top and base, likely referencing classical mythology or the Green Man motif, symbolising nature and rebirth.

The frame exhibits a beautifully aged patina and retains its original mirror plate, which shows attractive signs of foxing consistent with its age. The backplate appears to be untouched, with traces of old paint and a single integral mounting point.
