Description
A striking Edwardian floor lamp base crafted from brass and bronze. The designed has been influenced by the neoclassical style, the fluted column is topped with a detailed Corinthian capital, resting on a stepped square base with claw feet.Originally made during the transitional period from gas to electricity, the lamp would have been fitted for early electric lighting. A superb candidate for rewiring and restoration, ideal for traditional interiors or as a statement piece.
