Unusual collection of three 19th century Russian icons and an Angel which have been mounted on a wooden panel,c1890. The 3 bronze/brass icons depict traditional religious scenes - the Virgin Mary with evangelists and various Saints, including our lady of Vladimir and Smolensk. It is unusual to see an Angel displayed with icons but they look to be of a similar age and display well together. The wood has lovely colour/patina and is undoubtedly very old.
