Description

Fine late 19th century Australian Aboriginal First Nation throwing club, c1890. Commonly referred to as a Waddy, a-a or Boondi, these hardwood clubs are used as a weapon in combat or more commonly as a throwing stick for hunting. This is a very genuine example, lovely primitive hand chip carving, heavy for its size at 0.4kg with great colour/patina. Overall condition is good with no obvious issues.
