Unusual large 19th century Tibetan hand carved wood and polychrome statue, c1890.

Depicting a snake charmer the carving is good with nice detail to the face, hands, snake etc and the colours are still vibrant. Given the weight (3.5kg) we assume it is carved in hardwood and looks to be from a single block of wood.
