Large mid 20th century African Benin tribal bronze statue, c 1950.

This is a well composed and executed statue depicting a seated figure on a throne. Well cast and heavy at 2.5kg it has good decoration and detail to the clothing/head dress etc.

Overall condition is good with only minor wear and rubbing. It has aged well with good colour/patina.
