Two late 19th century Australian Aboriginal/first nation Woomeras, c1890.

Traditionally used as tribal spear throwers these are nice early hand carved examples with great colour/patina. The larger one has a traditional dished shape and the smaller one has a wood barb attached with twine and nice primitive zig zag decoration on the body.

Overall condition is good with minor wear and small losses in line with age and use.
