A large hand-carved mid-20th Century Chinese panel/plaque, c1950. The quality of the carving is very good, with a central dragon motif carved in relief.

The detail is great, with the scales, etc., of the dragon nicely picked out - and even the outside of the panel is surrounded by detailed carving. It is quite heavy, and made of hardwood, but we are not sure what type.

The panel is in good original condition, with only very minor surface wear in line with age and use. It has a great look, and is a nice decorative piece. Please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact us with any questions.
