Two large mid-20th Century African Tikar tribal bronze maternity statues, c1950. Both depict the same subject, but differ in size and decoration - so they are not a pair.They are nicely cast in the traditional lost-wax method, with good colour/patina, and are in good original condition in line with age and use.
