Art bronze plaque by Thomas Cornell, dated 1970.

This is a substantial bronze, well cast and weighing 1.6kg. It depicts a mans profile/Satyr figure and is signed on the front Cornell. The rear is marked \'Satyr x Thomas Cornell 138/375\'. Above this it is inscribed \'J Walker Thompson Co Christmas 1970\'. They were a famous advertising/promotions company so we assume this was a presentation piece commissioned for senior staff or similar.

Overall condition is good with only minor surface wear and a very small amount of verdigris. Please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact us with any questions.
